Revelations Made by the Sefer Hashluchim
In the Sefer Hashluchim, a compilation of all the Rebbe's army, each name listed is coupled with a concise job description. Viewing some of Chabad's most senior leaders' titles sheds light on some of todays most controversial arguments. Full report, Images

The Sefer Hashluchim (Book of the Shluchim) is the face of the successful Shlichus international network which the Rebbe himself initiated and managed.

The editors received personal instructions from the Rebbe regarding the book, each detail was calculated and precise.

First published as a small volume in 1990 (which was presented at that year's Kinus Hashluchim), the book was reprinted in a three volume set, printed in full color, fancily bound, featuring pictures of the Rebbe's army.

Looking into these books sheds much light in the general discussion of the Kinus Hashluchim.

Firstly, the opening page. Appearing before any other names, yes, even before the names of the heads of Merkos, the names of the secretariat, and obviously before the name of a conference chairman or other important individuals, is a full page dedicated to the Crown Heights Rabbinate and its members.

On that page, each of the three rabbis appeared with a picture from their speech at the Kinus, alongside a quote from their words of blessing to the Shluchim. All three rabbis were mentioned, Rabbis Yehuda Kalman Marlow, Avraham Osdoba and Avraham Heller.

With this preface in mind, is it possible to conceive how we have fallen to such a low point, where a conference calling itself the Kinus Hashluchim doesn't invite the local rabbis? How can we think that by boycotting the rabbis (because of personal disputes) we fulfill the Rebbe's wishes? Did not the Rebbe say in 1987 that he would not come down to the Kinus Hashluchim until the rabbis received a formal invitation?

If you continue to browse the beautiful pages of images of the Rebbe's soldiers, you will see each person has a clear description as to the role he plays in his Shlichus.

In the entry of Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Aizik Chodokov, it describes him as director of Machane Yisrael, director of Merkos Línyonei Chinuch, head of Rebbe's secretariat, chairman of the World Association of Chabad Chassidim (Aguch).

His colleague Rabbi Nissan Mindel is described:

Member of Board of Directors of Machane Yisrael and Merkos Línyonei Chinuch, member of the Rebbe's secretariat, member of Aguch.

These job descriptions are in stark contrast to that of Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Krinsky. He is described as:

Member of the Rebbe's secretariat and a member of Aguch.

Isn't that just fascinating? So, he's not the head of Merkos Línyonei Chinuch? Wait, he's not even a member of Merkos Línyonei Chinuch?

Well, that's the reality as specified in a book carefully scrutinized by the Rebbe. He is an honored member of the secretariat and Aguch. But no more than that.

Interesting to note that this book was published much time after those legal documents upon which Rabbi Krinsky bases arguments as sole leader of merkos Línyonei Chinuch. Nevertheless, he doesn't receive any title connecting him to Merkos, not even as a member.

So when exactly was Rabbi Krinsky elected as the Executive Chairman of Merkos Línyonei Chinuch? The answer is never. He simply hijacked the institution and grabbed its most esteemed position without ever receiving any official appointment by the Rebbe.

In light of this, we return to the contention previously raised. That is, from the pages of the Sefer Hashluchim one can only prove what the Rebbe wanted then. However, with regard to the Rebbe's wishes in the event of a 3 Tamuz, we must turn to the written will of the Rebbe. According to the will, as endorsed by over a dozen reputable rabbis from across the political spectrum, the rightful head of Merkos after 3 Tamuz is Rabbi Sholom Mendel Simpson.

The reason to look into the pages of Sefer Hashluchim, is simply to see that the Rebbe never elected Rabbis Krinsky or Kotlarsky to any of the leadership roles they now defend as having always been theirs.

(While we're on the topic: When the Vaad Habinyan presented the proposal for the restoration and extension of 770, the Rebbe instructed to add members from the general Chabad institutions. Rabbi Simpson was elected as a representative of Merkos, while Rabbi Krinsky joined as a representative of Machane Yisrael, once again, dispelling his alleged innate right to Merkos.)

2. Book
Berel

What about Avrohom Shemtov, what does the book call him? After all, he now calls himself commander in chief and that is what they are fighting about. Krinsky and Shem Tov, each thinks that he is in command. Command of what? And the shluchim, by going along with this hoax have become part of the joke. Shluchim should this year attend the event in 770 by the masses, just so that whoever is sitting by the shissel (which no one is goiung to get a penny from it, only yearly new promises) should realize that the day of reckoning is here.

you have a valid point. its very scary to think about the fact that they in charge and being that the library is worth so much i hate to want to think what they are capable of doing. specially that it was done in the past by someone that was a granson of the fridiker rebbi. people are people. i suggest next tishray when the orchim come 3000 we get them to sign a petition against krinsky and we set up representatives in every city in isreal and around the world we collect 20,000 signatures and then challenge them in court...after all Barry lost because it was ruled that its the chassidims property. in that case lets get the ball rolling and make a case that we the chassidim DO NOT AGREE to have krinsky in charge of
"""""""""""OUR MOSSED""""""""

MY DEAR BROTHERS THE TIME HAS COME TO ACT!!!!

8. Put the feelings aside andbe buttel to rebbe only

????????
When a person R"L decides to follow another religion - he/she is called a MISHUMOD. When a person R"L decides to do something forbidden by Torah - he/she is called a POSHEAH/MUMOR/CHOTEH, etc. WHY????is someone who purposely goes against the will & directives of the Rebbe MH"M STILL called a "shaliach"!?
Why do they still retain their "titles" regardless what they say or do?!

10. bring it to bais din

Why hasn't anyone brought this to a bais din?

If someone has a copy of the signed will, shouldn't he make it public in order to end the dispute?

To # 4

Get a life? I'll bet you are Krinsky or one of his sons, sure you think you control life, as you have all of the rebbe's money and I should get a life? Yea, thats a great line...

12.
very, very soon.....

Their WHOLE house of cards will come falling down on them, their families, the money they stole, this evil empire that they call "chabad" will go the way of the communist russian regime that crumbled in the early 90's.

Then, in it's place will be the TRUE moisdos of chabad that will operate according to the wishes of the Rebbe MH"M.
